A sweet-natured filly with the biggest of hearts; Roo is a dream to work with and will do anything to make her people happy - even deal with those oh-so-scary cows! She has a great love of people and it's not uncommon to see her following people down the fence line or calling to them as they leave and who can really resist the promise of pony kisses, of which she is all too happy to bestow? With her gentle nature and easy-going confidence, Roo has shown herself to be an ideal pasture horses for more timid and submissive horses and seems to be a bit of a peacekeeper.
Like all horses, she does have some quirks. Perhaps the one staff tend to smile about is how she always dunks her hay in her water bucket before eating it.

This confident filly takes race day in her stride, enjoying the attention without allowing herself to get wound up before the race. She can be a little hesitant with the starting gates but will load with a little gentle encouragement. Her start is smooth, although not the quickest, and she will happily settle into the group, often drifting just ahead of the closers and bides her time. Her real moment is in the closing stretch, when she throws her heart and soul into pushing past the field in a huge burst of speed.
