Flitcraft is a snobbish, temperamental colt. He tends to just not care about whatever it is he's decided to not care about. People don't much interest him, nor do other horses. He tends to like the barn cats the most, and often several are hanging off of him in the stable or pasture. He has a flashy coat with striking white markings, which tends to set him apart from the more common colored equines. It can get him attention he doesn't want, Flit much prefers to laze off under a tree solo or munch on some carrots than socialize. This boy's weapon of choice is his ears, which get pinned frequently, and we're lucky he is so expressive. He'll snort and be gruff, warning us when he's displeased so we can get out of his way or watch ourselves. He's extremely impatient, and doesn't tolerate much handling, even grooming isn't something he seems to enjoy.

Flitcraft loves a good roll in the mud or on a scratchy sand bank much better than a brushing or a rub down. He seems to like to take care of himself, the less people do for and with him the happier he is. He knows his job, when he gets on the track he runs. And runs. And runs. At times he can get a bit aggressive in a race, to get to the finish so the whole situation can be over with. His competitive drive is based more in his wish to get his way, he's extremely stubborn in this manner, and if his mind is set on something he's going to do whatever he can to get it. Flitcraft is generally an annoying nightmare on race day. He loathes crowds, so saddling is done quickly and at the last minute to make his exposure to the cameras and people milling around as minimal as possible. A tail swisher and an ear pinner, he'll grunt and paw and stomp often. His bad attitude and manners thankfully alert people to keep a wide berth, however that doesn't stop the camera flashes from his handsome coat.

He goes without a pony rider, as he only twists and yanks to get free of one. His jockey keeps him on a tight rein and has to just deal with the prancing and sidestepping. Flitcraft chews a lot upon entering the gate, but generally goes in without too much fuss. Once the gates are open he breaks at his own pace, and can swing to the side early so his jockey needs to anticipate. After a few furlongs he likes to settle in the middle, he doesn't ever want to be last, nor does he has much momentum going at first to take the lead. He likes the miler type distances, shorter sprints he doesn't gather himself enough and very long classic runs make him bored. His sweet spot is just between, and as the race goes on his drive to run rises. Grabbing his bit he'll gun for the win of his own accord.
