Mimi has shown herself to be a very intelligent filly. She picks things up quickly then runs with them - often literally. She thinks it is fun to challenge those around her, and this can make her difficult to work with. But it's not that she's bad, it's a mischievous spark that sometimes gets away from her. She loves to move and is very rarely still. Usually when in the pasture she is upto something and when she moves she has a wonderful and well-defined movement. When she's moving up and down the fence line it is hard to imagine that this same filly has probably caused somebody a headache already that day. Mimi isn't particularly fond of other horses, and isn't afraid to show it. She has been known to fight with other fillies and bully geldings meaning that she is often turned out alone.

Prior to a race, this filly is a symbol of equine grace, majesty and power. Her smooth movement, matched to a level head and the proud way in which she carries herself just speaks volumes. Mimi is a versatile filly, and this shows on the track with her variable running style - a mixture of knowing when to listen to her jockey and evaluating the situation with that sharp mind of hers. Nothing is random, but it is difficult to guess exactly how she will run until the gates open. The one thing you can guarantee is that she isn't about to rush to the front and act like a powerhouse from post to post. Even when she does lead, she sets a decent pace and sticks to it. Her real kick comes in the later stages of a race: two to three furlongs out she just opens up and runs with everything she has.
Her speed builds quickly, and she can keep it. She has deep stamina reserves, and a tenacious attitude which will see her battling in every stride for that win.
