This phenomenal filly is calm and composed beyond her years, taking new things like a champ and doing whatever is asked of her. She's incredibly smart, and more than willing when her handlers offer up some new challenge. She isn't easily discouraged, perhaps because of her rough second year of racing - even if she loses, or doesn't understand, or has a bad training session, she bounces back and doesn't take it to heart.
This filly is truly sweet, loving the companionship of humans almost more than that of horses. She's one of the first voices heard upon entering the barn, even if there's food already in front of her - she likes the people, not just what she give her. Though she's not the most outgoing horse, Leila's personable attitude has quickly made her one of the barn favorites. She's pretty quiet on race day, sitting back and observing alertly rather than getting worked up. It doesn't mean she not ready to do her job, though - she's just worked out most of her nervous kinks at this point. She doesn't start outwardly showing excitement until the post parade, where she'll prance a little beside the pony and lip at its saddle. As stated, she's not incredibly flashy, but she is a good girl with a lot of potential.
