In Front is the type of animal that needs to be in full control at all times. Once goofy, gangly and too clumsy for his own good, the bay son of Touch Up has grown into an outstanding equine machine. Every stride the big colt takes is one of purpose, strength and intent. He has a fire burning in gaze, his heart and his body seems to exude the fires of his passion. He is tough and durable in any situation, a knight's charger without the armor. His bravery and the need to battle is often put to the test on the racetrack. The colt is special and he knows it. He uses each advantage he has meticulously and without any mercy. In the barn, Ticker is the rough boy, a bully of sorts who knows nothing of his own strength. He'll bull over the groom and his full wheelbarrow without even a second thought and now has to be tied outside of the stall if any chores are meant to be completed. As he has aged, the stallion blood of Touch Up has finally sunk in. Out in the paddock, the large dynamo will soar along the fence line, great extended stride, neck bowed and tail lifted. He trumpets his interest in the mares and asserts himself as the toughest of the group. Such things do not fly with the other stallions, particularly In Front's sire. Touch Up and In Front will race furiously up and down the fence line, eyes wild with fury and slight enjoyment. The horses secretly appreciate one another and the added exercise has more than bulked up In Front. The bay colt maintains his weight and health excellently on the track, appears to thrive off of racing and working out. On the track, In Front has become decidedly more focused. He'll warm up, snorting furiously, muscles pumping and bulking up. The bulking up makes the son of Touch Up appear even larger and is intimidating to many of his foes. He'll go nicely into the gate, eyes blazing as he realizes the task at hand. He'll break from the gate well, though not overly fast for his large frame impedes him. Once he gets into his huge stride, In Front will track in the stalker or mid-pack position, not bothered by the inside rail or floating wide on the outside. The big horse has stamina for ten horses and is never tired. A grinder, In Front is always coming from the minute he is shaken up on the backstretch to the very end of the race. He needs the strongest of riders to keep going, but once fully extended the massive animal is a sight to behold. He'll stride out well past the others after the race, head lifted as if he could keep on going.
