This nippy stallion may be on the skittish side - jumping at unusual sounds whenever he hears them - but he has a heart of gold. Her Majesty's Service (known as Bond to those that care for him, after the famous character) is eager to please and incredibly responsive. He's guaranteed to work hard no matter what he's doing - something that makes him a very pleasant horse to train. In the stable and paddocks, he's a reasonable friendly horse; it's when he gets on the track that a competitive side shows.

Her Majesty's Service does not like the starting gate at all. It takes a while to lure him in and, once the gate opens, he bolts out as fast as he can. He then settles towards the front of the pack, though not in the lead if he can help it, for the majority of the race. A little on the shorter side, Bond's size helps him gain an edge when it comes to navigating the pack - allowing him just a touch more room to slip in between his competitors and overtake them.

Relying both on his own instinct and the guidance of his jockey, Her Majesty's Service will slowly start to speed up during the second half of the race - weaving in and out of the other horses as he moves past them. If he isn't in the lead by the final turn, he'll make a last minute dash for the lead and put all his strength into rushing past those in front of him.
