Ryan is a stallion who has it all. Looks, charm, breeding, intelligence, spirit, and so much more. He's the 'Prince' of his age group stablemates - the fillies adore him and the colts respect him. He's like a race car, always zooming around the paddock at top speed, skidding around tight corners and when he decides to stop suddenly. He's good to handle, but not necessarily easy. If he feels like it (which is often) he'll put on a show of bucking and rearing and dancing for the ladies. Ryan's not aggressive though. He's never deliberately bitten, kicked or stood on anyone. Under saddle he's like a fireball with legs - always on the go. The moment he feels your heels on his side he's off, so you've got to be really firm and quick to have any hope in staying on his back. On the track he is quite competitive, and can often be heard calling out challenges to the other horses.

Euphorion breaks fast, then gets himself into position in about fourth. He spends the majority of the race there, before springing into action and making his move at the two furlong mark, where he races past those ahead of him and outruns the rest.
