If ever there was a racehorse that loves to show off, it is Tres. Full of the same exuberant energy as her father, and paired with her mother's love for attention, she is a bit of a heart-stealer and the firm favourite of her handler. Even the vet cannot escape her demands for affection, which can both help and be a hinderance dependant on the situation. What she doesn't handle well is long periods in the stables, where she tends to weave out of frustration.

Tres thinks race day is the best. All the people, all the activity, and everyone watching her. She practically dances in the pre-race parade, fusses a little at the gate, and then the race begins. Having quickly realised that running well means that she gets more attention, all she cares about is getting to the finish line. She pulls out of the gate and sits behind the front runners, right at their heels until the final two furlongs which is where the race really begins for her. Power and desire to please, the roar of the crowd. What really fuels that final burst of speed, slipping past the leaders and doing everything she can to hold on doesn't really matter. All that matters is that she does it.
